Khaled El-Adawy is an Architect, Sanitary Engineer, and Software Engineer. He earned his B. Sc. in Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Alexandria, Egypt in 1988. He has also obtained his Higher Diploma in Sanirary Engineering from the same university later in 1997.

He worked as an Architect for the "Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety Affairs" from 1989 to 1990, then moved to the "Ministry of Higher Education" where he worked as a Building Maintenance Engineer" for 4 years. He returned back to the "Egyptian authority for Maritime Safety Affairs" in 1994. During this period he worked as a Sanitary Engineer with SEC (Sanitary Engineering Consultation Office - Prof. Dr. Sadek El-Adawy), one of the leading consultants in the country then. In 1998 Khaled decided to completly shift his carrer toward Sanitary Engineering, so he worked as a full time Sanitary Engineer with SEC.

Later in 2003, he decided it was time for a complete career shift again, this time toward "Software Engineering". He cofounded a small firm named "Phoenix Web Builders" specialied in the development of medium sized websites.

In 2010 Khaled decided that he needs to work withim a team, so he joined a startup called "Cloud9ers" as a Senior Software Engineer.
